Works really well

This dehumidifier was a replacement for a slightly smaller model we had been using for the last few years. Our older model had worked well but his spring decided to start icing up and no longer pulled the moisture out of the air. I researched several models and am so happy that I chose this one. It arrived quickly and is working incredibly well. It is nice that it can be set to various humidity levels. We have found that once it had been running for a few days, it seems it doesn't have to run continuously (like our previous model did), stops when the chosen humidity level is reached and then restarts if the humidity rises. We are complely satisfied with this purchase and very happy I chose it!

Better than expected, especially at the price

We had a really old, extra firm mattress we were sleeping on and after three nights of bad sleep, decided to get the foam. Amazon had a sale on the queen size and even though we had a full, it still work. The measurement was true to a queen, but the foam is flexible enough to bend and still fit even a full size sheet. A previous reviewer made us worry that this foam doesn't come with a customized cover, but that's not an issue at all; your mattress cover will fit just fine.

There was a smell but only right out of the box and if you dig your nose into it. We kept it aired out in the living room for a few hours just in case but detected no smells, even with my wife's sensitive nose, so we moved it into the bedroom. LOVE IT. 2 inches was just fine for us, gave that plush topper feel so we can sleep on our sides and not have a sore hip. 3 inches might have been too deep for us, we don't want to feel completely sank in.

Memory-wise, it didn't hold the handprint like in the ads, but honestly, I don't know what that is for except wow-factor or if you want to see a mold of your torso. The density still gave us great support and felt very luxurious.

I really like these sheets, I got them in the chocolate and the cafe. The chocolate is really rich and pretty, the cafe is definitely gold, as other reviewers have said before. I like my sheets a little crisp, but they are not scratchy. Other reviewers have said they wrinkle easily, and they do, but who really cares about wrinkled sheets? If you aren't getting your sheets wrinkled, then your bed is a little boring eh? Overall, I like the sheets and I will probably get another set in the ivory.

Vinturi 6700 Essential Wine Aerator For Red Wine

An easy way to make average wine very drinkable

Having drunk many different types and grades of wine over the years and while not being a pompous wine connoisseur I do enjoy a good wine and enjoy a good value wine even more. At home I always decant most of the red wines I purchase and this aerates the wines and removes a lot of tannins and produces a much smoother rounded taste. At a restaurant this is not very practical but using the Vinturi aerator you get as good if not better results without the need for the decanter and now I often find my self using the aerator at home as well.

On the down side it can be messy with wine sneaking out of the air wholes on the side and if you are not carefully running over the top if you pour too fast. But as a way to make a value $20 bottle of wine taste like its cost twice at much you cannot beat this little tool.

I have owned this scale and used it regularly since 11/07. It is still working flawlessly on the original batteries. There is about a 0.2 - 0.4 lb range of readings, depending on how you stand on it, but readings repeat within that range always. I never used any of the other features and don't really know what they are - I just wanted an accurate scale and this does the trick.

Not what it is cracked up to be!

I read all the reviews for this scale and decided to order it. I wish I hadn't. Everyone kept going on and on about how accurate it was and how it's reading were consistent. Every single time I step on this scale it gives me a different weight. It can range from half a pound to two pounds within a thirty second time frame. There are four pads that your heals and toes are suppose to make contact with and they are raised up from the rest of the surface and it makes it feel very awkward to stand on. If I had purchased this at a store, I would have definitely taken it back. I don't feel like spending more money to ship it back though. Don't waste your money.

Wow!

Excellent, very accurate scale with a great design.
I really love the one step needed to get an accurate measurement without the need to fire it up first.
The design itself is quite amazing and the numbers are very easy to read.

So far there are no issues with accuracy as some reviewers have experienced (my weight did match those measured at the doctor's office). It could be that they just received a faulty unit. In any case, it's worth remembering that our own weight does fluctuate several pounds depending on the time of day. We tested the scale by holding some weights and the scale proved very accurate.

Also nice to have the option of switching between pounds and kilograms (or even stone-pounds for those finding it useful)

Fit the bed but not comfortable

I ordered the queen version of the mattress pad. It fit the bed just fine no problems. As soon as I laid down on it I felt the difference that it was much softer. After about 10 minutes my lower back started to hurt and I didn't have that problem before I put it on. So far I've slept on it for three nights and my lower back has been a bit sore each morning. I will probably put it on the guest bed so at least I wont lose my money on the item.

Bombed three times !

We bought this bed at Costco for a visiting relative. Pretty comfortable (although you have to put a blanket under the sheets - otherwise the surface feels cold).

BUT - 1) Slightly leaks - had to re-inflate for a minute each evening (no problem, except when there's somebody sleeping nearby - it's pretty noisy
2) After about 2 weeks, middle of the night, we heard 2 bangs - almost like gun shots. Turns out the part of the construction that makes the bed "raised" failed, so instead of looking like two stacked mattresses it looks (on one side) like one very fat matress. Pretty frightening, and the fitted bedsheet does not fit any more. Returned to Costco (great - no shipping !) and picked up a new one.

3) New one leaks like crazy - soft and soggy in the morning.
4) Exchanged for a new one - same thing, only slightly worse.

Returened, bought a Coleman twin inflateable (not raised, no headboard) instead. Also leaked like crazy (2 samples).
IMHO the problem is in the very similar, built-in inflator pump - there's a built-in valve that would do it if it leaks. Returned it, bought an Aerobed (not raised, no headboard) with n external pump. Also leaks, but a LOT less !
